Who hasn’t been excited about and trip and unsure about what they can and can’t bring on a plane? We’ve all been there! Packing properly is all part of the process to avoid any issues with TSA.

  • Take Time to Travel and Get Packing!

Taking time to travel with family, friends, or yourself is a way to depart from everyday life stress. Traveling allows us the opportunity to recharge and refresh our minds. And for many reasons, the opportunity to create wonderful memories, building bonds, and moments of joy.

The previous post on “Spend Good Quality Time with A Destination to San Diego, California”, where I talked about this destination (specifically Balboa Park) for a family vacation over the summer and the endless explorations of activities for families or with friends. Of course, especially yourself if you are planning a solo trip. Anyone can appreciate the fun of this popular tourist destination.

Now moving forward, today’s post will be about packing for our visit to San Diego. Probably the first thing to consider is the weather. Is the weather warm or cool? Therefore, depending on the season you are planning your trip. My family and I are planning to travel this summer. While reading online, San Diego’s climate varies during the summer as it can get both warm and cool.

So, packing light clothes such as shorts, t-shirts, tanks, tank tops, short sleeve tops, sundresses, swimsuits/swimwear are good choices for warm climates. For cool climates (seems to occur throughout the evenings) packing long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, light cardigans, comfortable hoodies, jeans/pants are good options in keeping comfy. Moreover, packing a comfortable walking pair of shoes, sandals, flip flops, and sneakers based on the occasion. By the way, bringing sunscreen is essential to protect your skin from the UV rays, in which sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat are recommended too! Additionally, packing toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush, razors, tweezers, along with electronics like chargers, backup chargers, and cameras. More importantly, pack necessary medications, for instance my sisters and mother often have motion sickness, so we’ll pack over the counter dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) and allergy medications, including a first aid kit.

Quite a packing I’ll say, ha-ha. But it’s worth it, when it’s about having fun and creating memorable experiences with family! Makes life happier with your loved ones, indeed.

  • Pack The Right Items for Your Travels

A very important part of traveling is packing, and let me tell you something. ShenZhen is very hot. The humid sort of hot. Not one day will go by during the Summer months where you won’t sweat. The moment you step outside, whether it be sunny or cloudy, you will almost immediately start to perspire. Of course, that’s an exaggeration, but it will be very hot, so dress lightly. Pack your lightest shirts and pants. Pack with intent. Ask yourself how many days are you staying and pack clothing items accordingly. Don’t forget to pack a sun hat because you do not want those UV rays hitting your face and eyes. Make sure you bring sunscreen, it gets harsh in the afternoons. Don’t forget the essentials like medications and toiletries. Those should follow along with you in your carry on in case you need them right away. And if you get periods, bring your period products in your carry on luggage. Just be sure to store them in a clear zip lock bag. If anything, check the guidelines of whichever airline you would by flying with.

    Wisely Pack Please

Of course, while there are things that you should, need and are legally able to pack for your trip, there are also illegal things that airlines do not allow or are allowed under certain limits, under special instructions and are designated to be in your checked bag or carry on bag. So, therefore, take a good look at the items you have in your luggage. Then, you hop onto this handy website: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all and look up your items. If you’ve never been on a flight before, it’s better to be safe than sorry because you don’t want to end up on a list.

    Get Out There!

Luggage is an important thing when traveling. Make sure you are carrying legal items though. When you are sure you’ve got your bag packed properly, hustle to that airport! Safe travels!

  • Spend Good Quality Time with A Destination to San Diego, California

I have several places in mind for future destinations, in which I have yet to experience. However, one of the places on my bucket list is visiting San Diego, California. San Diego, California is a city known for top attractions in the arts, activities, food, beautiful nature surroundings, and more. It’s a great destination to plan for a summer vacation as the weather is terrific and the peak of the season for travelers to have a good time.

A tourist attraction to look forward to, while in San Diego, California is Balboa Park! Oh my, just looking at the photographs online makes me excited! Truly remarkable architecture, and green space. And filled with a myriad of activities for families or with friends. It’s like a WOW! Almost as if you can spend your whole vacation in Balboa Park.

Are you in your wonders? Because I am! Things to experience in this marvelous place, is the endless of explorations ranging from museums (18 museums!), well-known San Diego Zoo (home to rare and endangered animals), activities such as hiking, carousel, going for a walk around the gardens (such as Botanical Buildings and Lily Pond or Japanese Friendship Garden), and last but not least a pleasant time of entertainment of performing arts. It’s a dream vacation my family and I are planning for a summer vacation.

Traveling is a wonderful way to give yourself, family, or friends a relaxing, explorative, enjoyable, or connect with each other experience. Traveling is all about happiness and having fun, indeed. And definitely place a positive impact on your wellbeing, especially your health. Planning a vacation destination varies from person to person and depends on personal preferences and interest. If you are planning a vacation with your loved ones or with friends, it’s best to plan and decide together.

Is there a dream destination you have yet to experience?

  • The Musings of a Girl for a Far-Away Place

Once upon a time there was a little Chinese girl who ate dinner at a big table surrounded by red plastic chairs and many pairs of chopsticks. She played with her cousins and then got scared by a really big dog. And, she danced in the square with the older ladies and the taller pieces of grass tickled her feet in her little white sandals. She gets a happy meal toy from McDonald’s, but loses it on a paddle boat ride. And just like that in ShenZhen, China, in her grandmother’s house, she spends her Summers until the weather gives way to Fall and she gets brought back to the West, even though she wishes she could have stayed.

    Regular Summer Days

All of this sounds like regular days of ordinary Summers with nothing special in particular. There’s no hotels or rushing here and there. There’s no tour groups or time limits. It was just a girl living her life in a different part of the world. Odd thing was, she belonged there better than she does where she was born.

The Smells of Airconditioning and Durian

The stores are freezing cold, the air conditioner blasting. The smell of durian mixed with AC smell suddenly got associated with home and in the West, when the first time I smelled that exact same smell, I ached for Summer to come again and for my Grandmother’s house.

    Recommendations

This is my far-off place. And maybe you could take this as a recommendation for a place to go during vacation. Or, maybe not. There’s a whole ton of other places you could travel to if you’ve got the means to do so. ShenZhen is a great little place to be for just a short while, y’know, if you want to and can do so.

    In Conclusion

Go out there, find a place in the world out there that will bring you an absurd amount of joy. Of course, not all of us can afford to go on a trip, or have the means to drop whatever they are doing just to go on vacation, but we can still dream. For all we know, it might come true. Persistence and hard work are key. It sounds really optimistic, but a bit of optimism just might make life feel easier.

Remember, work hard, persist, dream of a better future, and just try your best.

  • Pack Your Imaginary Travel Bag and Leave the Illegal Stuff Behind

Are you giddy with anticipation for your next journeys? Now is the time to pack your metaphorical suitcase and ready for an amazing journey! You should avoid any unlawful activity at all costs, so we’ll go over that briefly before getting into the specifics of what you should take for your vacation. Nothing beats the sense of excitement and discovery that comes with exploring new areas. Visitors should make every effort to observe the law and immerse themselves in the local culture while visiting a foreign country. Participating in illicit acts not only exposes people to potential legal consequences, but it also reflects poorly on their moral fiber and has the potential to harm their general well-being.

There are numerous compelling reasons to be cautious and avoid criminal action while traveling.

Respect for one’s goal is always required. Each country has its own set of rules and regulations that have been painstakingly crafted to protect social peace and order. A disrespect for or breach of these laws demonstrates a lack of respect for the destination and its inhabitants.

Engaging in criminal activity endangers one’s personal safety. It is impossible to predict how law enforcement or communities would react, and the consequences could range from minor inconveniences to lengthy prison sentences.

One of the most valuable benefits of traveling is the capacity to understand other cultures. By observing the norms established by the people, one might avoid difficulties and show respect for the treasured traditions and values of the region they visit.

After establishing the requirement for legal and ethical travel, we can move on to the following topic: packing for a fake vacation. It’s critical to remember that specifics may vary depending on your region and preferences. However, there are a few critical aspects to consider.

  • Enhance Your Well-Being with a Dream Trip to Georgia

Take a trip to Georgia and you’ll feel like you’ve reached the summit of rejuvenation. One can achieve a higher level of well-being, improve one’s way of life, and completely embrace the concepts of self-care via total immersion in the magnetic charm and rich cultural tapestry of this spellbinding nation. In contrast to the previous post, which stressed the need to act morally and legally while traveling, this one will focus on the positive impact that Georgia may have on one’s well-being in its whole.

Georgia is well-known for its breathtaking scenery, rich cultural heritage, and generous hospitality. The towering peaks of the Caucasus Mountains dot the Georgian horizon, attesting to the state’s stunning natural scenery. Meanwhile, the cobblestone alleys of Tbilisi, the nation’s capital, emit a beautiful allure that captivates visitors.

When you carefully prepare how your trip to Georgia will be carried out, keep in mind that the specifics will change based on your unique interests and inclinations. To properly appreciate the stunning majesty of the mountains, the intricacies of traditional Georgian wine, and the profound depths of the nation’s historically affluent culture, I would strongly recommend embarking on an exploratory adventure. When preparing for your trip, you should prioritize adding important items that will undoubtedly improve your overall trip experience. First and foremost, get a durable pair of walking shoes. They will provide assistance and ensure that you have no difficulty adjusting to your new surroundings. It is also critical to protect your skin from UV rays. As a result, it is critical that you obtain an adequate amount of sunscreen. Last but not least, make sure you bring a camera with you so that you may capture the stunning beauty of the surrounds. As long as one has these, one will be able to fully participate in the immensely intriguing events that will take place.

  • A Travel Destination for Your Bucket List

Traveling can be as elaborate as you wish it to be. It doesn’t always have to be overseas or miles and miles away from home. I would keep activities, food and culture that you enjoy or are interested in experiencing in mind when deciding where you’d like to travel to. This would help you make the most of your trip. As someone who has yet to travel many places on my own personal bucket list, I would recommend starting with a nearby option. There are many things to prepare for and plan when traveling. My personal recommendation would be visiting El Viejo San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Why Viejo San Juan, Puerto Rico?

When considering flight time, traveling to Puerto Rico is only about a three hour plane ride. This would be roughly the equivalent to driving from New York City to the beginning of Pennsylvania! Something to keep in mind is that Viejo San Juan is a residential district so as a tourist, one must respect those who reside there. I was able to stay at an air bnb that had a view of the ocean and one of San Juan’s historic sights. The San Cristobal fortresses were walking distance from where I was staying and I suggest wearing comfortable footwear. There’s a lot of steep hills and walking to be done! The beaches in Puerto Rico are beautiful. They are kept clean and depending on which beach you visit, it can offer calm waters or wild waves. It is always very hot and it rains unexpectedly almost every day.

Although Viejo San Juan is a residential district, it still offers a lively environment. Music like salsa and merengue are always playing. Some food I’d recommend is mofongo, coconut pudding, flan and arroz con guandules (rice with pigeon peas) and meat of your choice. Traveling is a great way to escape everyday stressors. It is a great way to let your mind and body relax, get exercise through walking, dancing, swimming, sight-seeing and a great way to learn about history and culture outside of your own. What are some places you wish to travel to? I would like to visit the Grand Canyon next!
