  • The Fun of Claire Luvcat, Cats

Recently I came across a YouTube channel called Claire Luvcat. The channel’s content is focused on the daily lives of 10 cats and its owner. And I have been enjoying my time watching them. The owner is named Claire as the channel name suggests who deeply cherishes her 10 wonderful furry companions. They are named DD, TT, Coco, Momo, Lala, Lulu, Chuchu, Toto and Dodo (siblings) and Nana (mother of Toto and Dodo.) Each one of them is unique with different personalities, which makes them precious. I find their videos comforting, hilarious and fun to watch.

I’m both a dog and cat person. Not too long ago, my sibling and I adopted a Bombay cat from the shelter about a year ago. She’s a female cat who we named Angel Bella. A sweetheart, playful, friendly, and welcoming during our first interaction. She’s going to turn two in November. How time flies. And living alongside us happily and giving me and my family a warm loving companionship.

Now to come back on track ha-ha, I would like to recommend you to one of Claire’s videos which is titled as “The Secret Relationships Between My 10 Cats” (ENG Sub). Forgot to mention that she’s from South Korea and includes English subtitles in her videos for those like me who cannot understand Korean. I may start picking up some words, hopefully. I’m terrible with learning languages.

I recommend watching this video as it is certainly a fun one to watch. It is intriguing and adorable showing the strong bond and connection among the cats and its owner. You’ll see how every cat’s personality is diverse in their own ways. From affection, playful teasing, cuddling, grooming, and so forth. It’s comforting, heartwarming and entertaining seeing how happy these furry pals are with Claire and how they interact with one another. It puts a smile on your face as you watch. Claire’s laugh is contagious indeed! If interested, give them a try. It definitely will ease your mood!

  • Gilmore Girl Season

    TV For Your Comfort

Fall is here and all I can think of is curling up on a couch, wrapped in a blanket with a big mug of my favorite coffee or tea and tuning into Netflix to watch one of my favorite shows, Gilmore Girls. I recommend this show especially because it is more of a feel good show, it doesn’t necessarily have you on the edge of your seat. It is centered around a close mother-daughter relationship and their day to day charismatic lives in a fictional town known as “Stars Hollow”. You may enjoy it too if you’re looking to watch something with very minimal drama and wholesome, relatable connections. I know I have always felt connected to Rory’s character as a high schooler.

Gilmore Girls is more than just a show too. Being that it was filmed around the early 2000’s, the show is also an inspiration for fashion inspiration as this seems to be making a comeback with a touch of modern fashion in today’s time. In fact, I have noticed that there seems to be a “trend” taking place within the Gilmore Girls fanbase. That is, everyone is in search of the perfect “Rory” white cable knit sweater to pair with their favorite outfits this fall.

I also enjoy watching Gilmore Girls for their endless music, book, movie and show mentions. Rory happens to be an avid book reader, her mother Lorelai and best friend Lane happen to be music enthusiasts. There are mentions of movies as well as references to shows in almost every episode. The relationships that are formed throughout the show are also essential as they can be viewed as life lessons that we can also learn from. We watch Rory and Lorelai grow older and in this we watch Lorelai give advice to Rory. We as the audience also learn to feel cared for through their relationship. So, when in doubt, when the temperature starts to drop or when you feel like you would like to watch something soothing, tune into Gilmore Girls!

  • Go Watch Something. You Deserve To.

Hey, guess what? I’m Asian American. Specifically Chinese, lmao. Some of y’all must know what that advantage of having a second language under your belt feels like. Must know that feeling of having a wider variety of things you can watch. Lemme offer you this, then.《欢迎来到蘑菇屋》. If you can’t read Chinese but can understand it, copy and paste those words into YouTube and give episodes one through three a watch. It was hilarious, simple and clean. There was nothing fancy and flashy. It’s comforting, just watching close friends being together. It might make you think about your own friends and you’ll smile. Or it might invoke the feeling of I-wish-I-had-friendships-like-that. Either way, they’re hilarious. Them simply sawing wood can draw a chuckle out of you. But aside from the hilarity that ensues when they’re put in close proximity to each other, they’re also people who have emotions that they discuss and it’s really sweet. So, if you’re looking for something funny and sweet and down to earth all at the same time, this is the show you wanna watch. Or, at least I’ve only watched episodes one through three because it satisfied me and was a good place to leave off.

    Get Out There and Watch!

Give it a try if you want to. You might just like their personalities enough that you’ll want to see more of them. They could give you stitches in your side from laughing so hard or they might make you tear up. 《快乐在出发》and《快乐在出发2》are also great places to get a laugh and catch some feelings. It’s a nice feeling, watching people be friends. They’re simple and down to earth people. Maybe you’ll learn a lesson or two along the way. If you don’t like watching them, go read another article and find another suggestion from this website. There’s more out there for you to discover.

  • Babylon Berlin TV Show

The celebrated German TV series “Babylon Berlin” garners worldwide acclaim for its historical accuracy, stunning visuals, and compelling narrative, set against the backdrop of the dynamic Weimar Republic era in Berlin. “Babylon Berlin” masterfully captures the essence of this era by showing the contrast between the city’s glamorous nightlife and its underlying social and political conflicts. The series perfectly conveys Berlin’s gorgeous style and attraction in the 1920s. The extravagant outfits, cosmetics, and hairstyles accurately capture the extravagance and energy of the era (Hall, 2019). This feature enhances the show’s visual appeal and immerses spectators in the glitzy side of the Weimar Republic.

The series focuses on Cologne-based police officer Gereon Rath, who was sent to Berlin to investigate a pornographic ring case. A clever and aspirational police clerk named Charlotte Ritter stands by his side. She wants to be the first female investigator in the city. They find a network of espionage, corruption, and illegal activity as they pursue their inquiries, reaching the highest levels of authority (Hall, 2019). The production value of the series is one of its distinguishing qualities. Viewers are transported to the 1920s thanks to the show’s dedication to historical accuracy regarding clothes, settings, and props. Berlin is represented in a significant and realistic manner, with breathtaking sights.

The charming character of Charlotte Ritter, performed by Liv Lisa Fries, is the stereotypical “girl next door” throughout the day. She is a police clerk, and despite having a modest exterior, she has a thriving underground nightlife. She shows the sharp contrast between her public and private personalities by immersing herself in Berlin’s underground cabaret and party scene at night (Wilkins, 2021). This dual identity stands up for the conflict and dualism that many characters encounter in the unstable backdrop of the drama. Various people in the entertainment industry explore the issue of waning celebrity and the need to stay relevant. The program examines their difficulties as they attempt to adjust to a rapidly evolving society and field, reflecting the problems that actors in that era experienced in real life.

“A complex look into the stormy environment of 1920s Berlin is provided to viewers by the series Babylon Berlin, which expertly weaves together a hanging of subjects. The show gives its story depth and intrigue by setting its political context, which is common with ideological conflicts between nationalists, communists, and the foreboding growth of the Nazi Party” Babylon Berlin” skillfully portrays Berlin’s vibrant disco scene, advanced art movements, and diverse populace during the Weimar Republic’s cultural upheaval (Wilkins, 2021). It is a profound exploration of history, society, and personal struggles. Even though most of the series is in German, it is nonetheless highly well-liked.

Global audiences connect with the enduring themes of dominance, love, and societal transformation. It has a devoted following outside of Germany. It expertly exposes the obscure and frequently evil facets of the character’s existence. The series has an air of mystery and intrigue since scandals, corruption, and criminal activity lurk in the background. The show also serves as a historical backdrop, illuminating the Weimar Republic’s political unrest and the steady rise of fascism (Hall, 2019). This part of the story offers a provocative remark on the sociopolitical climate of the era and hints at a much darker future. Many of the series’ characters frequently struggle with psychological trauma and inner demons due to their involvement in World War I. These battles take many forms, such as post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction, illuminating the psychic cost of conflict.

“Babylon Berlin” is a masterfully produced documentary that thoroughly explores a crucial historical period. Anyone interested in historical dramas or foreign television should watch it because of the compelling crime drama, political intrigue, and deep character development it combines.
